My name is JD Virata. I am a licensed general contractor currently based out of Springfield, Oregon. My wife and I own Phoenix Contracting LLC. We are seeking land lease to lease/lease to purchase/cash/trade or partnership. We are interested in organic, regenerative farming. We are looking to create a bio-diverse farm with bees, chickens, goats, with a wide variety of produce using both no-till, cover-cropped ground and greenhouses possibly using aquaponics. We would be willing to develop a small farming piece from nothing. We can fall trees or clear brush if needed. Leasing 1-5 acres is plenty of land for us to implement a 1-3 year plan of transitioning from contracting to full time farming commercially. The crops and animals to focus on depends on the land available. We would love an existing or option for us to provide a small building for a mushroom operation. The amount of time and labor required to bring this vision to fruition is extensive and I plan on running my company for income supplementation until the farm is self sufficient so housing options like a space for our fully contained RV or possible yurt location would be ideal. We are open to conversation and ideas. Thank you for taking the time to read our post! Looking forward to meeting and aligning with like minded people! You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text us at 541-961-5127(JD) or 541-913-2835(Talya)

- Grew up Micro Farming
Get our hands dirty and develop efficient no-till, diverse crops with cover crops. Green house for germinating, microgreens and herbs. Raise chickens and goats for eggs, milk and cheese. Possible CSA's, Farmers markets, Specialty Crops.
Become self-sustaining, regenerative farm, integrate more food crops, build processing center and possibly add horses.
We have a nice converted Skoolie that is self contained. Water and electric hookups preferred. Open to Yurt(we have lived in one before and loved it!) or cabin.
Honor open communication, show respect to the earth and every person we come in contact with. Laugh and smile alot!!!
