Hello, I am a retired teacher/digital artist (www.susanmweeks.com, www.imdb.com) looking for an investment opportunity in acreage to start or continue a business growing produce, flowers, berries and/or bees. Livestock is also possible – I’d like to raise wool-bearing animals (alpacas) for textile arts and products. I can start immediately with both cash and a tiny home. One more note: I am fully immunized against COVID but still adhere to all the guideline until everyone else is immune. My art activity includes fiber arts, digital arts, animation, multimedia, photography, video and VR.
Water, water rights, on-site sewer, private well, barns/structures, pasture, woodland, electricity.
I have been a Gardner all my life. Recently I spent several as a volunteer at the Pacifica Organic Gardens where we grew produce on a large scale for the local food bank/community resource center. I also have grown copious amounts of cannabis but can’t apply for that because I am not an Oregan resident yet. I am also pursuing a second Master’s degree in Art Therapy at Lewis and Clark starting in 2022.
Short term plans are to continue or start a boutique business such as honey, baked berry goods, jam, organic yarn production, vegetable produce subscription. I am open to many options.
My long term plans are assisted living in 20 years. I turning sixty years old this year, am robustly healthy and want to live out my last productive years as I have always wanted, as a steward of the land.
I have a 21 ft self-contained camping trailer equipped with solar panels and 2017 Nissan Frontier 4-wheel drive for towing. 30 amps of electrical would be nice, some access to water and a level spot are my housing needs.
