Lease to own or partner

Land Seeker Description

Hi, my wife and I are currently looking for a small house and land to lease to own or partner with someone. We have two goats, two mini pigs, turkeys, chickens, and ducks. We love the farm life and have to move out of our current house due to it selling. Would love the opportunity to continue to build our mini farm and live the country life. Thank you for your interest.

What features of the property are essential?

Water, sewer/septic, electric - availability and a livable house.

Describe your farming experience

I grew up on a 800 acre farm in Texas easing sheep, goats, pigs and rabbits for 4-H projects and market. Then land was used for growing wheat, cotton, hay grazers and a huge vegetable garden that was sold at the farmers market on the weekend. I have experience with all tractors, plows, hay balers, forklift, dump trucks, excavators, backhoe, drip irrigation, pipe irrigation, welding, hauling trailers and so on.

I also worked for DuPont Pioneer to genetically grow hybrid corn and soy plants for different intolerants to weather or insect or animals that would eat the plants.

ImAfter DuPont Pioneer, I worked for John Deere solutions intelligence. I worked with all the software programs and the farm accounts to get farmers set up with the receivers to be able to manage their farm accounts.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

Start a non-profit rescue for livestock, and be able to sell the eggs, and possibly dairy products that can make food or soup products or lotions.

What are your long term goals

Eventually be able to buy the farm and have trouble youth come volunteer to work on the rescue farm to teach good lessons of life like responsibly, accountability, hard work ethic and more. I would love to be able to be in a position to give back to the community I live in to better other lives.

Describe your housing needs

Looking for a smaller house for my spouse and I.
