I am deeply passionate about sustainable, seasonal farming and the powerful connection between land, culture, and nourishment. As the great-great-granddaughter of sharecroppers and Indigenous peoples from the southeastern United States, agriculture is not just an interest of mine—it is my inheritance and my calling.
From the tender age of eight, I knew I was meant to work the land. I cherished every opportunity to learn farming practices from my great aunts and uncles. Watching them grow food with care and intention—and then transform that harvest into meals that were nothing short of divine—left a lasting imprint on my spirit.
Though I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, my journey led me to Oregon with a clear purpose: to immerse myself in farming, to gain hands-on experience, and to build the credentials needed to honor and expand upon my roots. Today, I bring together my work as a naturopathic physician, nutritionist, and chef, guided by a holistic understanding of food as medicine and farming as a sacred practice.
I am now seeking land where I can continue this work—ideally a property with a commercial kitchen or the potential to build a processing space. I am also open to expanding an existing farm, growing both food and community in meaningful ways.
Above all, I carry with me my mother’s wisdom: “Does the land speak to you?” That question remains at the heart of everything I seek
Kitchen (Commercial-like or option to build), Barn (or option to build), and the opportunity to purchase additional or expand land.
My journey with the land began in the South, learning from my elders—my greats—whose traditional practices honored and preserved the earth. As a child, I carried those lessons in my body and memory, climbing mango trees and absorbing ways of living that were rooted in care, respect, and relationship with the land.
As a teenager, I deepened that connection through community and urban gardens, learning how to grow food in shared spaces and within the rhythm of the city. In my young adult years, I traveled upstate New York often, seeking hands-on knowledge in both farming and the business of agriculture.
My studies in agriculture are grounded in land preservation, sustainable practices, and permaculture. Everything I pursue is guided by a commitment to steward the land in ways that honor both ancestral knowledge and future generations.
In the short term, my focus is on building a strong and sustainable foundation for both the land and the business. This begins with securing and protecting the property, ensuring all business entities are properly established, and gathering the resources needed for the land to thrive. I will also complete updated processing inspections and take the necessary steps to fully legitimize my farm operation.
As I begin working the land, I will prioritize seasonal crops that align with the timing of occupancy, while establishing long-term orchard growth. This includes planting fruit and nut trees such as apples, Illinois mulberry, magnolia, figs, almonds, and walnuts. I will also establish essential livestock, including Sussex, Easter Egger, Australorp, and Cochin hens, alongside building out microgreen production stations.
Sustainability is central to this work. I am committed to developing a low-waste system through composting, exploring water upcycling where permitted, and reducing energy demands through methods such as root cellars and potentially a walipini.
As the farm becomes more established, I will thoughtfully expand to include additional livestock and production, such as Nigerian Dwarf goats and Scottish Highland cattle, continuing to grow in a way that respects the land and supports long-term resilience.
I am the founder and owner of a small baby food company rooted deeply in the land and the people who care for it. What I grow is first meant to nourish my own family—and from that same soil, I create food for other families through my company.
We are proud to be the only baby food company that fully owns our manufacturing and production rights, and we are officially trademarked. But what truly sets us apart is not just ownership—it’s our values.
Our company is built to be seasonal, regional, and farmer-centered. Every ingredient we use is grown either on my land or sourced directly from small and family farmers across Oregon and Washington. This isn’t just a preference—it’s written into our charter. We are committed, by design, to supporting local agriculture and ensuring that every dollar we spend goes straight to the hands that work the land.
My heart has always belonged to the land and to the people who tend it. This business is more than baby food—it is a long-term vision to create something meaningful and lasting in the agricultural world. I want this company, alongside my farm, to become a trusted staple—one that farmers recognize as a true partner.
A place where growers know their harvest is honored.
A brand where every product is made with care, integrity, and love.
A business that doesn’t just talk about supporting families—but proves it through action, every single day.
Housing for my family and potential for a farm-handler's family in the future. Or the option to build.
Connection and trust are deeply important to me. I value the opportunity for previous landowners to feel a genuine sense of ease and confidence in entrusting me with the land they have cared for. I believe in mutual respect and understanding—recognizing that sometimes, the land chooses its stewards.
I am seeking to work with individuals who share this perspective, who are not simply looking to sell or enter into partnership lightly, but who understand the deeper relationship between land and caretaker. I feel strongly that the right landowners will recognize in me a kindred spirit—someone whose intentions and presence align naturally with the spirit of the land.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
