Land Seeker Description

My name is Andrew and am deeply passionate about regenerative farming and land stewardship. I’ve spent a decade honing my skills in organic farming, permaculture, livestock care, crop management. I currently farm on 83 acres in Cottage Grove producing grass fed beef and lamb. I’m currently converting some acreage in to orchard and small grain production.

I’m looking to expand my grazing operation onto more acreage that aligns with my values of land stewardship, sustainable practices, and community connection, where I can use regenerative agriculture methods and grazing animals as a tool to improve the land over time.

Ultimately, I’m seeking a partnership with the land owner that has the potential to be a long-term, thriving operation. I’m open to working with land owners to achieve a mutually beneficial outcomes. Above all, I’m looking for a place where I can put down roots and build something sustainable and meaningful for my family, the property owners and the local community.

Farm Manager at a Certified Organic Vegetable Farm (Boulder, CO): Helped manage an organic vegetable farm that supplied 200 local families with fresh produce each week through a CSA program and wholesale to grocery stores.

Intern on a Small-Scale Pig Farm: I got hands-on experience working with pigs, and learned the ins and outs of producing value-added products like charcuterie.
