Educated and experienced in being a sustainable steward of the land. Seeking an opportunity to share and grow on a farm or property. Co creating a naturally sustainable farm/habitat

Land Seeker Description

I’m from a farming background and am ready and excited to move into an opportunity to share and grow with someone that has a land or farm that needs tended to and/or made more sustainable and productive. I hold a Masters in Sustainable Education with a Permaculture Certificate and Organic Masters Garden License as well.

What features of the property are essential?

Electricity and water would be nice. But it just depends on the situation I would also like to be able to put up a small wall tent.

Describe your farming experience

Been farming large and small for 25 plus years. Also I enjoyed crearing curriculum and teaching farm based education on a learning garden for 3 years.

Are you currently farming?

What are your short term goals for the land

My main goal would include helping produce a sustainable farm that provides for our needs and produces nice yields to share with others. Within the first few years we'd work on establishing amazing dirt, amazing vermi-composting, planting and propagating existing planting. Creating a CSA would also be a goal. I really believe in beneficial planting and using nature to help itself. In the first year I'd want to help build a future design based on all the existing elements.. Visualizing is important part of creating a future we'd all enjoy.

What are your long term goals

To enjoy the yields/fruits of the love labor/work done and continue to grow and change based on what the land needs. To share ideas and teach others who will be our future farmers and land stewards.

Describe your housing needs

I currently have a house in the Portland. But I'd to be able to at least live sometimes or more on the land. If other dwellings existed, that would be awesome too.
