Central Oregon and Coast: Seeking Lease or Creative (Organic Practicing/Nursery)

?

Land Seeker Description

I am a prolific and passionate land steward with a wide variety of both personal and professional experience in farming, gardening, and land stewardship activities. Currently going back to school after 10 years for a Masters of Natural Resources. Having stewarded and worked on multiple farms, I always find a great joy in creating an abundance in the landscape. I currently work as manager for a farm program but do not have my own land to grow on and want to get started on a creative venture that will help me secure the ability to steward more land in the long term. Ownership of land is difficult and I can help put that land to good use in a good way.

I want to focus on small fruit nursery production and select vegetables for cottage food value added products. Recognizing patterns down to details for what we choose to grow and expand in the Pacific Northwest it is my hopes to have a system that can grow it’s own stock and expands to meet market opportunities. A simple system that can be managed by one person to get started but naturally has the ability to support additional employment with appropriate growth.

Please review my short/long term goals to see if you think I may be a good fit for your land and give me a shout if you have any questions. Thanks!
