20+ acres in Western Oregon with natural water feature (creek/river)

Land Seeker Description

We are a family of four looking for our next adventure in farming!  We seek a 20+ acre property with a natural water feature i.e. creek or river that does not flood the property.  Ideally this would be north of Roseburg and west of the Cascades.

What features of the property are essential?

Water rights, on-site septic, irrigation, barns/structures, electricity, farm land with no prior herbicide or pesticide usage, and same for adjacent land. I.e. no adjacent vineyards, or conventional farming.

Describe your farming experience

Between 2020 & 2022 we managed a 2-acre farm. We cultivated blueberries, plums, apples, market garden, chickens for eggs, as well as medicinal plants for body products, tinctures, and teas.

What are your short term goals for the land

Depending on the financial situation of the farm property and the agreed upon arrangement we will both have off farm income. We intend to transition to farming full-time as soon as possible.

What are your long term goals

We intend to grow high value organic meats, and animal products for sale Beyond our time farming we intend to pass the farm on to our children. This is land we intend to build a family legacy with.
