I own a small(< 5 acre) property that has some available land for farming (about 1/2 acre) converted from pasture last fall with a cover crop. I will be using a small part of this for an OSU tepary bean dryland trial, but the rest will be available. Water is available from a well, but I do not have water rights for the property. The total pasture area is about 3 acres, and the balance is my residence, barn, fenced garden, and orchard. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone to experiment with winter vegetables.
I would love to connect with someone who wanted to learn care and handling of horses, and could help me with daily care so I would be able to get away for periods of time. Very willing to train the right person, and my horses are easy to work with.
A work exchange situation for a room in the house or parking space for an RV or camper. I am able to provide an opportunity for farming 1/2 acre that has been prepared for growing. I would like to find someone willing to help with maintenance of the property and horse care, and caretaker services periodically. You must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
An integrated, regenerative farm that could be used as a training site for beginning farmers.
This siruation could possibly transition into a shared property situation with the right person(s). I am hoping to find reliable, trustworthy partners.
