My family owns a Pinot Noir vineyard in the Willamette Valley that I’m looking to lease out rather than continue farming. We’ve had a rough couple of years (as many have), and we’d rather find a good tenant or management arrangement than let the vines sit unfarmed or sell the property during the bottom of the market for a song. This is a legacy vineyard that my father had planted.

– Variety/clones: own-rooted Pinot Noir Pommard
– Vines Planted: 2003
– Farming history: dry farmed using organic practices but not certified
– Contracted grapes: 3.5 acres with repeat clients. Past contracts include Beaux Frerer, 00 Wines, Chapter 24, Dominio IV, Jay Christopher, Tori Moor
A quick Google search will reveal the great reputation our grapes have. Our fruit contract clients wines are high-end & sell for $75+ a bottle.
Beyond the vineyard itself, there’s also a house on the property that could work as a tasting room, hospitality space or housing for the right partner, and we’re open to discussing wine/fruit terms as part of a larger arrangement. Additionally, we have been making wine with the extra non-contracted fruit for the past 3 years & have an estate wine stock that could also be negotiated for a plug & play situation.
The vineyard is on 50 acres so there is additional opportunity for farming of all types.
