We are seeking someone in a part time or full time partnership to tend to a 70 acre farm in it’s early stages of start up. We envision a quintessential small farm of fruit trees, nut trees, cattle, hogs and chickens in an idyllic setting. Fruit, nut and shade trees have been planted. Irrigation has been installed and we are ready to complete fencing and introduce livestock. We believe in rotational grazing and regenerative practices. We are looking for someone to assist with;
Irrigation
Managing pod and drip irrigation, moving irrigation lines during summer months
Trees
Mowing, Pruning, fertilizing, managing for diseases and pests
Pasture
Fencing, fencing repairs, haying, animal husbandry
Equipment
The farm has the necessary tractors, mower conditioner, rake, bailer, disc, culti-packer, bush hog, livestock trailer, utility trailer, auger, wood chipper and ATV’s. Experience operating and maintaining this equipment is a plus.
We would be open to your business enterprises and interests assuming they fit within the framework of Organic/Regenerative. We could work on a profit sharing, split system or acre carve out scenario.
