Looking for some great people who want to do organic farming
on 1 acre of Southeast sloped land in Damascus, OR.

It’s on a hill so it’s not conducive for large farm equipment, but small equipment is fine.

I already planted 30 lavender pollinators and the soil is incredible for growing tomatoes, potatoes, onions, flowers, lavender, raspberries and lettuce, from personal experience.

There’s also lots of blackberry bushes around, which provides buckets of blackberries in August and September.

The house & land rents for $3,600/mo.

No indoor pets allowed.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

Find renters for the house who also want to farm the entire 1 acre property. Happy to have goats or chickens on the property too.

Keep it as a farm, grow the fruit trees, have great reliable irrigation on the property & and have happy renters live there for many years.

Current Use

It is not being used - I added wood chips on a part of the land to grow vegetables. There's fruit trees that are growing too. Otherwise, it's lawn that can be converted to farming.

We plan to assist the farmers in any way we can. We are open to every background and farming experience. What we find important is a respectful use of the land to grow plants and trees on the property. I am even happy to partner with the farmers financially if there's a great plan and capability to plan some great crops.

As someone who installed solar on the house to have a net 0 energy usage, sustainability is important to me and I would be excited to rent out to farmers interested in designing a farm that works with the nature around.
