I just bought a 20-acre property with 7 acres of irrigated land that I would like to put to use In a productive and meaningful way.
The property is very close proximity to downtown Bend yet feels private. The property is approved and well-suited for animals or crops. Irrigation water is provided by the Central Oregon Irrigation Department via the CO canal. The irrigation is dependable and reliable from April to October. Irrigation lines and sprinkler heads are available for use as part of the lease. You will be responsible for mowing, maintaining, fence mending, and general upkeep of the land. It would be ideal for flower farming, orchards, horses, goats, sheep, etc. No cattle, please. Power is available.
There is a 2 bed 1 bath house that is available as well.
To have someone with a passion make the most of the land. I would want them to take care of it and in return reap the benefits.
I am open to where this endeavor goes!
I just bought this property with the hopes of turning it into a functioning and sustainable farm. It used to be a hobby farm and the land is not currently being used for anything. I want to help someone create something beautiful this summer!
Drinking water runs from a well. Irrigation water from Central Oregon irrigation canal.
Storage shed available
Sprinkler heads, pipes. There are some hand tools and hoses and other bits and pieces available as well.
This area is zoned for farming and has irrigation rights.
I welcome all types and promise to provide a safe space. I believe in the simple act of listening as a form of connection and value the diverse experience of others to learn from.
To contact a land holder, you must first fill out a land seeker profile and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
