~8 acres were a pasture for the past 15+ years. Sat images from the 80s show it was likely a conventional farm.
Water rights from nearby stream
Not irrigated and no infrastructure available
May use barn on the southwest corner of the pasture
No soil tests and no water tests were done
Fairly flat land with slight slope and no wet spots. Nearby grounds are very rocky but hoping this piece is not since it was farmed in the past.
Organic farming, add trees and fix fencing, catch up on maintenances, add greenhouses, etc.
Natural food forest and natural habitat/homestead and can sell overproductions
Fruit/nut/timber/other beneficial trees, bees/ducks/goats/other beneficial animals and a garden big enough for a family
Rented to Oregon Jamboree once a year in the summer
Unused and just mowed rest of the year
Water right from the western creeks for ~8 acres.
No irrigation available
Untested. Soil is silt loam per SoilWeb
New structures may be built
In farm/forest zone so fairly open. 1 block outside of city limits so city ordinances do not apply.
Oregon has some natural Iron and Arsenic so might not be good for grains and root vegetables.
Creek water has not been tested.
Wildlife protection is needed (deers for vegetables, mountain lions for livestock). Livestock fencing exists and the land is partitioned but it has many openings. Will have to close off some areas and fix fencing.
To contact a land holder, you must first fill out a land seeker profile and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
