Property is located in Husum, Washington. If interested, submit application via Google Forms (https://forms.gle/DBD1oivvJzRTE54w8) by Nov. 30 for best consideration. Property is more than 100 acres with two houses on it. One house is occupied by the nearly octogenarian couple (my mom and dad) who have lived on the property since 1974 and are no longer using the arable land. The other house is available for rent, accompanied by a negotiable amount of acreage that surrounds that house and that will not interfere with the landowners enjoying their home. Minimum rent is $3k monthly, negotiable based on acreage. See marked up aerial view map. The available house is approximately 6,000 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 5+ bathrooms, 2 car garage, drive-in basement, see photos. Alfalfa previously grew in the fields and cattle also grazed. Landowners are probably most interested in a one or two year lease with options to renew one year at time, given the uncertainties of the next decade. It is anticipated that landowners can commit to providing one year’s notice of non-renewal for the farm land; nothing expected to happen suddenly.
Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property
There are two residences on the property and my parents live in one. They are 80 and plan to age in place for at least a few more years, possibly more than 5. I am looking for a tenant to occupy the house and make use of the farm land, most hopefully in a sustainable, do no harm way that is cognizant of how food production affects climate change. This property has also been used as a business in the past; the house is large enough to accommodate a small business.
Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property
Not yet decided, but I expect that it will eventually be sold in its entirety when my parents decide to move off the property. I anticipate that it will stay fairly open and not be turned into a subdivision. We are open to conservation easements and/or nonprofit purposes. It is entirely possible that the house pictured in the photos will become a business instead of a residence and could be the center of an agricultural project.
Open fields, some grazing.

Any Restrictions That Could Limit Agricultural Production
It has been farm land in the past and is still in a rural area.
