I am offering my property in Underwood, WA to any interested beekeepers for any of their associated beekeeping activities free of charge. Since I’m unfamiliar with beekeeping, I am also unfamiliar with how this property may help. Perhaps hosting the beehives either during or between pollination seasons? Or whatever other need my land can serve to interested beekeepers.
The property (southern sloping and at an elevation of 1400-1600ft) is 40 acres, bordered by fir forests, and contains around 5 acres of lavender, 1/2 acre of pears, 5 acres of vineyard, and scattered wildflowers. It is farmed organic.
Again, I am not sure whether this is attractive to beekeeping activities but I’d like to be helpful. Any advice is appreciated – please reach out via email with interest.
