For Sale, Lease or Partnership: 35 Acres in Aurora

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

Food production or other crop production that can be planted in the fall (right away). Would like to see vegetables or even livestock (there is currently no fencing in place).

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

It would be great to see the land still producing vegetables/food crops long term. This land has good potential for organic or other type farming; and has excellent water rights.

Current Use

Just completed harvesting a wheat cover crop; and red clover. Currently the land is available for working for new crops.
This was a vegetable farm for several years, and has been in cover crops for the past year (red clover and wheat).

Soil Type / Quality

Full irrigation available (underground mainlines). Water is included in the land lease. No irrigation pipe available.

Buildings and Structures Available for Farm Use

The farm has a large farmhouse which could possibly be available for rent. There is a machine shop which is currently rented. There is a large barn nearly fully enclosed. This has a good entry for large machinery to be parked, or hay to be stored. There is an irrigation pond which helps with availability of water from the well which can be pumped into the pond and then onto the field.

Farm Equipment Available for Use, Sale or Lease

no machinery or equipment is available at this time.
