This is a gorgeous piece of property with potential, but it is remote, and not everyone is made for rural living. Lots of people have romantic ideas of “moving to the country and growing food.” We are looking for someone who already has experience scaling up an ag operation and knows how to build a successful venture. We value honesty, integrity, and hard work. If this is you, we would love to speak with you and hear about your goals.
Anywhere from a traditional lease to a more dynamic partnership.
Either a large operation managed and owned independently by grower, or something we invest in and own part of along the way. Would be great to scale up a sustainable revenue stream while building value in the land, improving soil, and preserving the property's natural beauty.
Grazing livestock and haying fields. Small operations with pig, chicken, cow, horse, etc.
Varied topography, so varied soil types. Sandy loam on valley floor. Not a ton of organic matter currently.
3 bedroom house with ample storage. A few small sheds. An old homesteader barn with some dry storage under roof, but structure in need of repair and is not locked. We have a cabin and barn across the valley that we use periodically.
Remote location, and currently very little infrastructure in place. All of the pieces are there to build a productive operation, but essentially starting with a clean slate.
