We are building our queer matriarchal collective on 10 acres near Canby, and would like to find someone who dreams in land-use to add to our vision!

Currently available:
– 2-ish flat/sloping acres
– fully fenced and cross-fenced, some electric
– full sun
– no irrigation set up; nearby private well serving one residence, not sure on its capacity for agriculture

We are open to creative agreements regarding the lease; anything can be a conversation!

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

Right now, the main goal is to maintain our tax reduction for farm use, and maybe even break even on the taxes.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

Ultimately, we would love help to rewild the area -- perhaps creating a food forest, pond, etc. There are other parts of the property not listed that are an empty canvas for our collective dreams! We are so excited to build something beautiful, regenerative, restorative here. If that lights up your heart, we should talk.

Previously used for grazing donkeys.

There is private well water and outdoor spigots, but no irrigation set up. We would prefer low water usage/dry farming.

Any Restrictions That Could Limit Agricultural Production

The entire property is zoned EFU. Water conservation is important to us; we don't want thirsty crops using tons of precious well water.

We value our relationships with our neighbors, and do not want to introduce a lot of nuisance on our road.

There is currently not an option for housing of any kind.

Our collective includes folks from marginalized populations and we have zero tolerance for behaviors, beliefs, or mentalities that make them feel threatened. First and foremost, this is our home, and we need to feel safe with anyone who comes onto this land.

If you believe that farming is stewardship, not extraction; honor all forms of life; and understand that everyone has pronouns, we will probably get along!
