Ranch total acrage is 153 acres but it is partially hills and timber. We grazed 44 cattle on land for years but are getting too old to handle hay feeding in winter. Approximately 75 acres have plenty of grass during spring/summer. There are year round springs for water and Siletz river surrounds property. We are NOT interested in selling. We’d like to find someone who needs to lease land to graze their cattle so we no longer have to keep our own herd.
Continue torun our own cattle (angus) - minimal amount - until we find someone to lease property and bring in their own herd.
Leased for grazing so we don't have to feed hay or mow fields. Property is NOT FOR SALE - not going to be as long as we maintain good health. We just can't handle cattle maintenance any longer and fields need cattle to keep grass down.
Cattle grazing
There are year round springs on property and Siletz river goes around 3 sides of property. Have had cattle since 1996 and never had to do other water sources.
flat fields, grassland
Large barn which holds our annual hay purchase. Prooperty is fenced - holds in our current cattle fine. There is smaller fenced enclosure for cows for spraying them, loading for sale. Two areas can be closed off with gates to rotate cattle around area.

We have used the ranch as a foster home for 16 years or so - fostering children of many different backgrounds and races - we have aged out of that. For 14 years we were the home for the Newport Cubs football team and then for 2 years for Siletz football for football clinics at the ranch. Ranch has been used for 2 weddings and 3 wedding receptions (for free) for community/local residents.
