This is a potential opportunity for small-scale veggie, flower, or small animal farmers to secure a long-term lease by the acre in close-in rural Clackamas County. FULL DISCLOSURE: This is a proposed shared use of another land listing https://oregonfarmlink.org/land-listing/for-lease-or-lease-purchase-20-acres-of-land-near-boring-oregon-with-irrigation/ The property has irrigation and potable water, electricity, and is expected to have a small barn with some shared implements in time for the 2020 season. Please refer to the original listing for additional site details.
We have been in communication with the owner of this 19-acre site to arrange for us to use of this property as an “Agriculture Park” with smaller, .5 to 5 acre private parcels sub-leased to small or beginning farmers to operate independently. The organizer is Outgrowing Hunger, a local nonprofit which builds gardens and urban farms in east Multnomah County. This project will only move forward if cash sub-leases can be arranged for the majority of the site. We are posting this now in order to begin this process in the hope that we will have enough sub-leases secured to commit to the project by Jan 2020.
Lease is approx. $1600 / acre per calendar year, plus a fixed $200 site management fee for each farm. Lease can be paid in monthly installments throughout the year. Hemp / cannabis and large animals are prohibited. Please contact us if you are interested!
