We had an extraordinary experience a few years back with a group of young people who came to live on the farm for a few months that turned into lifetime friendships. We also had an experience that ended badly when we had someone live here who was too dissimilar from us. We like to eat and drink and dance in the living room. We are somewhat disorganized and housekeeping doesn’t always come first!
Putting food forest close to home and using permaculture principles to work around rest of farm. Farm owners switching more to apiculture from critter keeping as we age. Finding the right farm partners to lease farm as we age.
Same as above except we plan to retire from our jobs within 10 years and according to our interests and health will likely want to live in town in 15 or so years. Not interested in selling but rather in leasing the farm at that poing.
grazing cattle and sheep, raising pastured pigs, wildcrafting herbs, bees
Spring water available
Barn and accessory building, building walipinis as greenhouses
Tractor, trees available for rustic building
None we know of, because of easement it would be difficult to have a farm stand.
