Approximately 7 acres of land for lease. South to southeast-facing, gently to moderately sloping, irrigation from Farmer’s Irrigation with water rights for 7 acres. Elevation is approximately 1,000 feet. The land was previously a production cherry orchard, trees were removed in the last 10 years by previous owner. The house at the property is occupied, but a large shop outbuilding is available for storage of equipment and supplies. Currently the land is mowed and irrigated as a non-production grass field. Primary irrigation infrastructure in-place. We are seeking a farmer and/or partner to help put the land to beneficial and sustainable use. Unfortunately, no housing is available. If you are interested and have a viable idea for this land, please contact us.
Develop a long-term plan/partnership/lease to establish beneficial use for the farmable area. Initiate necessary infrastructure investments for plan (access, equipment, fencing, plantings, etc...). Owner willing to share in necessary infrastructure, materials, and equipment investments. Open to compelling plans and different types of crops/agricultural use.
Implement the identified long-term plan to transform the farmable area into a beneficial and productive plot of land, take advantage of available irrigation/water rights. Productive use is priority over economic gain (for land owner).
