For Lease: 5 acres near Oregon City (Redland)

Two pastures, one of 3 acres and other of 2 acres available. No housing available or allowed. You will have to come to the site from your own housing.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

We want to put our two fields, one that is a fenced 3 acre pasture and another 2 acre partially fenced pasture/fields to use rather than just having them mowed down each year. Mainly interested in a farmer who could develop the fields into productive hay fields as they are currently growing grass for pasture animals. Open to another crop that requires minimal care and site visits. Farmer will need to provide own equipment.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

We plan to put the non-field areas into forest land. The non-field areas are already partially forested. The reforestation from the last clear cut by previous owners did not result in sufficient stocking in several areas and have been overrun by blackberries. We hope to reforest all of these areas. Would like to keep the existing 5 acres worth of fields for someone to grow crops on a long term lease while we focus on the reforestation efforts.
