I am looking for a 3-5 year lease on my farmable property. There are 100 acres with water rights, 60 of which is flood irrigated, 40 with a 25 hp pump and panel connected(main line available but no sprinklers). Would prefer a grain crop to be planted in the 40 as it is currently not in production. Attached to 40 acres of grazable fall pasture(waterfowl nesting area in spring and summer), as well as 60+ acres of undeveloped pasture on the lake shore. The property is located about 25 miles outside of Klamath Falls Oregon, between the towns of Dairy and Bonanza, right on a small water body called Alkili Lake. Ponds provide water for 100 pair nine months out of the year.
I'd like to see every farmable acre in production.
Eventually I'd like to farm my property and teach my son how to run the property as well.
Mostly grass hay, 40 acres with pump usually planted in oats, fall pasture.
100 Acres Water Rights, ditch fed from the horsefly irrigation district.
