Come Grow with Us on 160 Acres – Helios Farms, Yoncalla, OR.

Helios Farms is a small, family-owned dairy and ranch in Southern Oregon. On the land we use Permaculture practices and Joel Salatin style farming methods with a focus on regenerative farming. We specialize in raw milk, eggs, pastured raised chickens, Berkshire hogs, and Hereford steer. There are no GMOs, soy, corn, antibiotics, growth hormones, or traditional medicines on the farm. We raise and butcher all of our meat and offer our products through farm and herd shares. In this way we have grown to serve over 200 families with weekly deliveries from Roseburg to Portland.

Our business is growing which is great- but- the more we grow the more we want to expand our vision. And we need help. We’re looking for skilled farmers, ranchers, gardeners, builders to join us here. Singles, couples, families welcome. There are many opportunities depending on what you’re interested in accomplishing and we’re open to just about anything.

Want to learn and practice permaculture? Build a cob house and live in it? Help out in the dairy? Learn how to harvest livestock from our master butcher?

The skies the limit.

We do not currently offer housing. You can bring an RV, camper, trailer, tent, yurt and set up in your favorite spot in 160 acres. Our goal this Spring and Summer is to build housing on the property- if you help with this you can claim one as your own.

If any of this sounds interesting please contact us and ask as many questions as you like. Look forward to speaking with you soon!
