This particular valley gets warmer in the summer and colder in winter than other coastal areas due to it’s elevation and valley orientation.  Some summer days it is 10 degrees warmer than beach, and the swim hole is luxurious.

The length of the property is South facing and gets good morning into late afternoon sun.

Farm went out of production in early 90’s.  All buildings need work, water and electrical systems need updating

Nice home on adjoining property with views of farm, upstairs home and downstairs apartment.  Upstairs is currently rented for $1350/mo., downstairs is built in the last year and currently rented for $1050/mo.

I am a builder and have bought property from family.  My wife and I live out of state in July and are looking at our options for the land.  I come visit and work on farm at least 3 times a year, and one of my tenants is also acting as current caretaker and I talk to them every other week.  I co-own the main farm areas including shop space with my parents, who live in the county and currently utilize and also maintain property.

Potential for a new dwelling to be built.  We have a building site that is grandfathered in with county.  If finances allow, I will likely put a cabin there, or a modular home.  I enjoy having good hard working people living on the land that continue to help improve it.

Farm needs a lot of work, but has great potential, just needs the right people who have a vision, skills, and money to pay for their operation.

There is no fencing on property, Leasee would be responsible for installation and financing of.

The ideal situation would be for us is to find someone who:

  • Able to prove ability to pay rent, and able to show proof of ability to finance the upstart of their operation
  • Good business plan with experience, equipment, references etc.
  • 5 year lease
