Acreage on a farm in the Applegate Valley may be available for the right individual and/or farm couple looking to use their skills in farming and/or animal husbandry. There are outbuildings, water, electric that are currenly in use but may be available depending on the scope of the individual’s desired farming operation and how that meshes with current use of the land.
My family and I live on the property, so currently there is no housing available. But this will change when we transition “off the farm” in the future.
I am actively farming the land but am looking to possibly pursue other business activities and non-profit work. Therefore, I am starting the search for an individual or couple that is looking to get on to some land but may not have the means to secure land for their farming plans and goals.
Please let me know:
Open to different options and arrangements for the use of land for farming (lease for cash, partnership, etc.). Most important thing to me is looking for the right person(s) with a business model and plan that best matches with the land, acreage, water rights and infrastructure that are available.
(location of the farm shown on Google maps is just a general location.)
Continue to develop the property
Identify individual or couple that wants to live on a farm and have a business model that fits with the land available that would enable them to make a living for the work they put in.
Currently farming and raising animals.
Great water rights (from Applegate River) for all acres.
Various types. Well drained (and rocky in some areas) as we are on the Applegate River. No clay soil.
Barn, fenced pasture. Possibly other out building.
Irrigation pump and irrigation system that can get water to most any part of the farm.
Every individual has value as a human being no matter what their walk in life.
