7 acres of forest land on large pond

My husband and I own 10 acres. It’s forested land with a small lake that cuts the property in half. On one side of the lake we have our house and garden area. But the other side, which is about 7 acres, is undeveloped. It’s beautiful lush forested land with a steep ravine in the middle of it.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

Our hope is for the land to be used and enjoyed by someone who will make more productive use of the land than we can currently. We have too many projects and work full time jobs. We’d love to have someone with ideas who wants to play around and experiment with putting the land to productive use. Some of our ideas include mushroom farming or goats. Or aquaponic farming on the pond. But we’re not attached to any of these ideas. We’d love if someone wanted to make some minor improvements like making trails or clearing fallen trees.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

My husband and I are passionate advocates of getting people (especially children) into nature. We’d love to start an outdoor school or outdoor program. Or figure out other ways to share the beauty of the forest with others.

Any Restrictions That Could Limit Agricultural Production
