Your move...
Barn still has tools and some ancillary items from previous farmer who left in December. Some raised beds were started near the barn and there are several greenhouse frames (80' X 30') in the field that can either be salvaged or improved for either greenhouses or animal shelter. The interior barn is being used for storage. Blackberry removed recently with natural methods.
There is some livestock infrastructure still in place. The structures are in the process of being improved. If you respond soon, we would really love to incorporate your suggestions into the upgrades.
There is a barn with electrical fixtures, storage, hayloft, 2500 gallon water storage tank that supplies the house, connected to the second well, and animal stalls. Dirt floor so it cannot be classified as a CAFO (middle-finger, State of Oregon!)
The property is fully fenced currently but it is not high enough to prevent deer from jumping over.
Hand tools, roto tillers, some power tools are available.
The well is for residential use only and there is NO agricultural well on site. We maximize Oregon’s climate to take advantage of rainwater harvesting methods such as rainwater collection, bioswales, and other conservation practices. Previous renters trucked in water for the dry season. We are also planning to build a pond at a high point to supply the farm.
Here’s the bottom line: This land is for actual farmers, not "RV-farmers," dreamers, or covert pot growers. I don’t care where you’re from or what your background is— If you’ve got dirt under your nails and a fire in your belly, let's talk.
We’re not about gatekeeping or playing favorites—this is about results. Diversity just means more ideas, more skills, and better farming practices. It isn’t just welcome; it’s a strength, as long as you’re ready to apply it to the business. If you’ve got the skills, the work ethic, and a clear plan, the gate’s wide open.
To contact a land holder, you must first fill out a land seeker profile and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
