30 acres in Linn County

Description

30 acres of dry ground currently used for hay/pasture. Our ideal would be to lease the ground for hay  production and be compensated with a fair percentage. We are also open to leasing for other crops for cash. There is good access and the ground is very gently sloping. 24 acres were hayed this season yielding 330 round bales averaging 550lbs. The ground is fenced.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

We would like to see the land utilized for farming and responsibly managed for the mutual benefit of ourselves and any farmer who partners with us. We are motivated to ensure a very fair agreement with someone is willing and able to utilize the land.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

Long term and short term goals coincide. We, as older farmers, would like to remain on our property but find that we can no longer farm it with our current physical resources. We would like to support and encourage someone who can utilize and manage the property responsibly and respectfully.
