About the property
The property is a 25-acre parcel with water rights, a well, and electricity. It is two miles to downtown Junction City and 13 miles to downtown Eugene with frontage on Highway 36. No chemicals have been applied to the soil since 2010. Land is mostly well drained silty clay loam. There are a few acres of flat woodlands that seasonally floods.
About the Owners
We are two professionals and amateur farmers. We farmed the property for four years when we first purchased it. We had a small vegetable CSA and raised egg layers, meat chickens, and pork. We have experience managing and marketing small businesses, however we are both committed to existing projects and do not have time for daily involvement.

However, we prefer an arrangement that gives the farmer motivation to be creative, industrious, and a good land steward. Potential arrangements include:
About the You
We are seeking someone who is entrepreneurial, has farm experience, is passionate about sustainable agriculture, and is committed to the local community. Basic business knowledge is a plus, but not strictly necessary as we can contribute to accounting, bookkeeping, marketing, and legal needs. However, good business sense is important. We are flexible on the partnership arrangement and are willing to consider both ownership and non-ownership arrangements. We encourage potential partners to bring their own ideas about potential crops and business models.
