South facing property near the Wilson river, rich deep soils and well water on site. Ideal for small scale farming, greenhouse, mushrooms, etc. Animals and LGD welcome. RV hookup available or space to make cob home, long term lease negotiable.
I'd like to collaborate with a few others to share in communal farming/gardening.
Removing invasive plants mechanically and with animals, developing the lower half of the property with a pole barn to support animal & ag use. Building a house and ADU in middle area, clearing blackberries from the upper area and waterfalls
Not being farmed yet. Recently cleaned up in process repairing the fences and getting ready for domestic animals (open to goats, pigs, chickens) and garlic, onions, mushrooms, herbs, flowers. Half an acre of the garden will be enclosed with a fence.
no water right, just domestic well and and lots of rain and ability to store it when needed
The Tillamook soil series consists of very deep, moderately well-drained soils formed in mixed alluvium on stream terraces. They are characterized by slopes ranging from 0 to 15 percent and are found in areas with an average annual precipitation of about 90 inches and an average annual temperature of around 50°F.
20x8ft Storage space in shop.
no equipment on-site, I usually borrow or rent what I need. I have basic handy-type tools and will lend if needed.
well on-site, water can also be stored in tanks, generally there's plenty of water in the water table from nearby streams and the dry season is July 15- Sept 15.
I am here to include anyone who wants to collaborate. I support DEI and I encourage those who have not taken the leap to reach out to do so, we may or may not find that we have shared goals.
