We are interested in either leasing or forming partnership with someone interested in cultivating a crop on this gently sloping hill. The hill has some shade in the evening hours as it is bordered by large Douglas fir trees to the west. The soil is slightly acidic based on last soil evaluation around 1 year ago. Water is available with a large holding tank already at the apex of the hill.
The setting is idyllic and located near wineries in SW Eugene.
We would like to have some sort of crop with someone's oversight in order to utilize the land effectively and with good farming practices.
Would like the land to be both productive and aesthetically appealing if possible. Would like to reserve one small patch of the hill for possible terrace/Japanese garden of some sort.
Was previously planted with lavender but left to its own devices, so nothing currently
We own water with well already piped to holding tank; was previously used for lavender.
Slightly acidic
Large shed, large barn
Will eventually have tractor, we just moved here.
We welcome all races, cultures, creeds, religions, as long as tenants hold similar views.
To contact a land holder, you must first fill out a land seeker profile and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
