Several irrigated acres available in Tumalo ready to realize your small farming dreams!
Whether that’s a flower farm, veggies, herbs, bee-keeping, orchard, or you name it, please reach out. Because I’d love to see this water go to good use!
The 10-acre property has 6-acres of irrigation rights, but due to how the neighborhood is situated, only 2-3 are easily accessible for cultivation. Though, that could be improved over time. There is an additional fenced pasture that could be available in the 2023 season.
Irrigation is available for use from April 24 through mid-October. Electricity is available. And there’s plenty of space for you to put an additional shed or outbuilding for your operation.
Land use is available for lease or trade. Let’s chat!
Support an aspiring small-scale farmer in providing land and water for growing.
Use land and water for small-scale sustainable agriculture. This could be flowers, fruit trees, veggies, herbs, bees, whatever! Work very full-time to pay for this place and would love to use what we have to support others' visions!
Residents currently do personal gardening, and the fenced pasture is currently used as grazing for two horses. But most of area is not realizing its potential! Especially with the water crisis in our area, we'd love to see this water go to good use!
Mostly sandy, loamy. Typical Central Oregon! Mostly grass-covered at this point.
One shed could be available for use. Or you can bring your own shed or outbuilding to use.
Miscellaneous tools, shovels, rakes, mowers, but no heavy-duty farm equipment is available.
Handlines are currently used for irrigation, though it's possible to set up drip or any other water system you prefer.
There are four residential dwellings on the property. It's a very close-knit neighborhood and everyone supports this initiative! We'd love to support, assist, and cheer you on as you cultivate the land.
Come see for yourself 🙂 We are an optimistic, hard-working community who've worked in outdoors, leadership, counseling, business, etc... You'd have our full support, encouragement, connections, and friendship behind you!
To contact a land holder, you must first fill out a land seeker profile and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
