Work Outdoors June & July in a Beautiful Rural Setting!

This is a great seasonal job for someone who:

  • enjoys a lot of walking
  • thrives working independently
  • has reliable transportation

Iris Vineyards is hiring Seasonal Temporary Vineyard Workers paying $17-$19 per hour plus a $500 bonus if you work the whole season (June & July).

Work includes tucking vine shoots into the trellis, raising moveable wires on the trellis system, and removing leaves and shoots from the vines. You’ll be doing a lot of walking.

We farm with pride and intention.  We take care in the work we do.

Successful candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in all weather conditions.  There will be some cool and rainy days early in the season, there will be some hot days later in the season.  There will be many beautiful summer days in between.

The worksite is near Lorane, Oregon, 20 miles SW of Eugene.  Reliable transportation is essential.

The schedule is Monday-Friday and begins at 6:00 or 7:00 AM.  We start early when the weather is warm.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and begins approximately June 10 & lasts until approximately July 26.  The work schedule might vary on rare occasions due to the variables of agriculture and weather.

The work is physical and repetitive. You’ll be doing a lot of walking and reaching.  Sometimes there is dust and pollen in the air.

Iris Vineyards also hires seasonal employees for September and October in our winery to help craft our grapes into wine.  Vineyard employees might also find seasonal winery employment.

These positions are a great introduction to Oregon’s exciting and dynamic wine industry.
