is a local nonprofit that teaches hands-on, inclusive school garden education to over 6,000 elementary students in the city. Three of our beloved Garden Educators are moving on to new chapters this summer (grad school, new city, new careers) after several years of working with us. While we are sad to see them go, we are excited to invite new folks to join our work teaching children to grow food and connect to their communities and natural environment.
We are hiring two full-time (0.85 FTE) positions and one half-time position to teach at several schools next year. We welcome applications from people with passion and skills working in ethnically diverse communities. Grow Portland values all life, work and educational experience that supports teaching students about gardening—we encourage you to apply and look forward to the possibility of working with you!
Apply by July 8!
