Gathering Together Farm (GTF) in Philomath, Oregon is seeking a driver for our Sunday Hillsdale Farmers Market. This
person should reside in the Philomath/Corvallis area. Our market season at Hillsdale runs year-round, but in Winter the
market moves to every other Sunday. Additional on-farm hours may be available on a seasonal basis – alternatively we can
combine this market driving position with the production team member position for a full-time role. See our website jobs

This position is primarily responsible for safely delivering products to the market in good condition, while representing GTF in
a positive, professional manner and providing great customer service in the market. Experience in retail, and with fresh
produce is highly desired.
This Sunday shift is a long day – typically 12 hours, from approximately 4:30am to 4:30pm. Markets are a bustling, busy, but
rewarding work environment. You will be working alongside a team of experienced coworkers who are passionate about
good food, you will get to build great trading relationships with other vendors, receive paid breaks and lunch, and an
abundance of organic produce for your household.
Responsibilities:
• Operate a 24 ft. box truck in the city streets of Hillsdale, automatic transmission.
• Delivering produce and market supplies to market in good condition
• Unload produce and market supplies with pallet jacks, utilizing safe ergonomics
• Participate in working the market by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing produce
• Load the remaining produce and all market supplies in truck
• Securely transport market cash and supplies to GTF office
• Beware of and follow specific Farmers Market’s policies
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to lift 50 lb.
• A valid Oregon Driver’s License as well as a farm endorsement on your license (this can be obtained after hire with
help from the farm).
• Experienced ability to operate a large box truck
• Additional knowledge of produce varieties preferred.
