Young Farmer Seeks Land to Live On and Run Market Garden

Land Seeker Description

I’m a single, 37 year old male currently living and working on a small scale market garden in Sunny Valley, OR.  I’ve spent the last 4 years traveling and visiting farms of all kinds and have discovered my interest in country living.   My top priority now is to find some land where I can develop a small market garden and make an income doing it.  I have a camper van but would like to find a place where I could build a cob/tiny house and put some roots down.  I’m looking for a place with good sunlight and access to water. Southern exposure on a gentle slope is ideal.  Rural area is preferred but needs to have access to a market. Land with a river/creek/brook/spring/pond is a plus.  Fencing is a plus as are any existing outbuildings/barns.  I would like to raise ducks or chickens and would consider hogs or a cow as well.   When I’m not working I like to dedicate time for reading, meditating, and guitar.

What features of the property are essential?

Water, good sunlight, partly wooded areas, animal friendly,
