As a regenerative farmer and grazer, I am actively seeking creative solutions to restore farmland and degraded him, aiming to bring it back to health and vitality. I am open to collaborating with landowners through various arrangements, such as work exchanges or other cooperative efforts.
Water rights and irrigation equipment would be key. I’m not necessarily worried about the soil types the more degraded, the better to be able to show that regeneration of soils can happen anywhere.
I currently farm in the applegate Valley and have been doing so for the last four years. I am looking into getting into rotational, grazing and cattle management.
My plan is to be able to do regenerative rotational graze cattle that will be taken to market.
1. **Regeneration of Soil**: Implementing natural farming methods to improve soil health, promote better drainage, and enhance productivity.
2. **Hay Farming**: Farming the land for hay purposes to provide feed and bedding while also benefiting soil health through rotational grazing and composting.
3. **Crop Production for Amendments**: Growing specific crops that can be used to create amendments for pasture health, such as cover crops for nitrogen fixation and soil enrichment.
**Satellite Farm for Regenerative Practices**: Transforming the farmland into a showcase for regenerative practices, serving as a satellite farm where others can observe and learn about sustainable, holistic farming methods.
By focusing on these goals, I aim to not only restore the land but also demonstrate the viability and benefits of regenerative agriculture to the broader community
I do not have any housing needs
To be an ally for them, and include them in anyway and operations in a welcoming and gracious manner.
