Seeking acreage for stewardship, beginner level farming, vacation rental manager

Land Seeker Description

Hello Fellow Humans!! It is time to leave the city again. My dog and I are seeking accommodations in an autonomously progressive community, land to steward, or vacation rental management. We are not pressured to leave where we are, the agreement I am currently fulfilling is ending in September, with freedom to leave anytime. Our intentions are pure to be an asset to any environment. We are sweet and kind beings, with much patience and compassion for our fellows. We are comfortably practiced in setting boundaries, and also respecting them. We can recognize needs and respond accordingly and appropriately. Our true purpose is to be of service to others. We take this seriously. Yes, the dog does these things too. We like to grow food and all other beings with roots, music is heaven sent, and we love to work hard and play hard. We would adore being on a farm, working our share, managing, stewarding, we are open to all things ‘farm’!! It’s summer so we don’t necessarily need to be indoors; open to trailers, tent sites, barns… however we are looking for long term and indoors!! Bartering is amazing and has been working well for us for two years now. References available. We are self sustaining and capable of creating a balanced and richly fulfilling environment and experience. We have beginning level food growing experience, market/home stand vending experience and excel in customer service relations!! We very much like to collaborate and work towards goals. We look forward to chatting with you, and creating new opportunities for the good of the whole. Be well. Stay true.

What features of the property are essential?

I am the best at adapting!! I can make most anything work. Minimalist living is so refreshing! However, amenities such as water rights, functioning sewer, structures, electricity, great soil, sure make things easier!! Thanks for all your hard work making properties available with amenities!!!

Describe your farming experience

I grew up on a farm of our own, we raised and grew all of our own food. We butchered, preserved, sold, and shared our supply with our community. I have not done this type of work in my adult life, but have always had some level of cultivation going in the space available, everywhere I have lived. I am a quick learner, at ease with pressure, and easily create cohesive environments for the good of the whole. I have an almost finished Food Anthropology BS from University of Oregon, I am not sure if I will finish my degree. I am interested in cultivating native environments, and generating more opportunities for humans to get back to their roots in the land. I appreciate the farming communities efforts in facilitating these opportunities.

What are your short term goals for the land

Since I do not have this experience, I can work with landowner to facilitate their land needs, manage, steward, and other.
However, my dream is to cultivate food, teach others to cultivate and sustain, crop share, market vend, feed people without resources. I have a soft spot for folks that seem to have been run over by our current system. The Veteran community in particular, I think could benefit from finding refuge in the land and learning how to cultivate. An environment that nurtures healing and has less ptsd triggers than the city. Gardens for HEROES?

What are your long term goals

Creating and facilitating healing space by working the land. Bringing people together for cultivation of land and health, and healing. Creating a program for Veterans, and gathering people to make it happen. In general, helping those in need. Which I am that person, I need the use of your land. Thank you for sharing!!

Describe your housing needs

Warm and dry.
