I have just moved to Central Oregon this past summer after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with an Agriculture and Environmental Plant Science degree and a water science minor. I am currently working for a cattle and hay producer but I am looking to start out on my own. I have been farming all of my life and I am just looking for an opportunity. Anything will work and I am willing to work with/for anyone.My biggest goal is to learn from other farmers and ranchers and to be the best producer possible.


What features of the property are essential?

Water rights and irrigation is what I would say to be essential.


Describe your farming experience

I have farmed all of my life. I grew up on an avocado and citrus farm in southern California. Went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received an Agriculture and Environmental Plant Sciences degree with a Water Science minor.

Yes

What are your short term goals for the land

My short term goal is to utilize the land. Not only do I want to farm the land my biggest goal is to improve it as well: by rejuvenating the soil and making the irrigation more efficient with the water.


What are your long term goals

I will keep improving my methods of farming and continue to learn and develop my skills as a farmer.

I do not need any housing.
