We are a multi-generational family group looking for owner-carry farmland/ranchland in central Oregon, or the central coast area of Oregon. 800k max. Preferably at least 30 acres, with water, area for cattle and organic diversified farming. At least two homes and a shop/s. Willing to do some work on the homes, but hopefully without too much deferred maintenance and cannot have mold. About us: 12 family members, including kids. We have adults with disabilities in our family, and we hope to employ other folks with disabilities in the future. We’ve got organic farming and ranching (cattle), experience, and look forward to relocating to the Oregon area to put down permanent roots.
Water, decent soil, usable land, (although we are willing to work it), housing and a shop. Not more than 40 mins from a decent sized town with medical care and shopping.
We have several years experience with small-scale diversified organic farming. Veggies, fruit, some orcharding, poultry, bees, goats, flowers. We are currently learning ranching and hope to have several head of cattle.
To continue and expand our organic diversified farming, expand cut flower business and hopefully CSA. To set up the property for cattle and start with several head of cattle as we continue to learn ranching.
To have grown to the point that we can employ local folks with disabilities and create jobs that will allow them to work outside the home in a healthy, fulfilling job that focuses on their abilities and that provides not only income, but socialization and self-confidence. To have a year-round CSA that offers fruit, veg, and organic meat to the community. To have built relationships in our community that are mutually beneficial and to be able to give back to those around us.
We need at least two homes. Prefer stick built for at least one, the other we are more flexible on. Preferably main home will be at least 3/2. RV hookups would be great. We need at least one nice shop. These things are flexible if the price permits us to add them ourselves.
We hope to be able to give back to our community and serve underprivileged folks who are often overlooked - this is one of our long-term goals. We work with and respect people from all backgrounds and beliefs.
To contact a land seeker, you must first create a land listing and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
