Honestly more land than we need. East facing slope pasture and bottom land around the creeks. We’ve been here 33 years and intend to keep land in family but we and our son are open to a long term lease.
Our land is fenced but fences need lots work. It contains our 14 head of Dexter cattle and similar numbers of Blue Faced Leicester cross sheep.
We can provide materials in exchange for help.
Plenty of water on the property for livestock.
Timber and a good situation for outdoor mushrooms.
Establishba a long term, respectful working lease relationship that benefits all of us. While we have no housing available there is housing in Silverton. Our family is onsite to help with animal care if that might work. It's legal to have an RV here 120 days a year. Oregon's land use laws are strict but I don't doubt creative minds can work out something.
To see it developed into a productive source of locally produced food and to maintain the land's natural resources.
Cattle, pasture, sheep. Owner makes farm direct sipping vinegars from blackberries and fruit and small batch botanicals for Farmers Market
No water rights, domesticwell and three creeks/spring/pond. Plenty of year round stock water.
Mostly hilly, suitable for grazing, trees, firewood.Mostly Nekia class D, some C, a small patch of Macalpin B
We have a small barn. You would likely need to put up a portable structure depending on your needs.
We do have a tractor, small Kubota
FT zoning, no water rights but plenty of water for stock, domestic well
We believe in the human dignity and worth of all people. We would not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, gender, religion. ethnicity. We would hope to find mutual understanding and honesty so the factors that might cause conflict can be known and discussed openly before they do.
