Description

We recently acquired 46 acres (40+ usable) of river bottom land with over 1,000 ft of frontage on the Willamette River. The land has not been farmed for over ten years and is currently fallow with various grasses and some blackberries starting to come up. We are looking for one or more partners open to creative ideas for turning this farm into a model of sustainability.

The farm has a house that we are in the process of remodeling, a very large pole barn, and some old out buildings that should be torn down, but will be rebuilt as it is easier than getting a permit. The house is rented out, but we are open or finding a place on the property for a small yurt, tiny home, or RV for partner farmers. Due to feedback, we want to make sure the farming is your primary objective, not free housing rental with a minimum of farming attached.

We have lots of equipment and are willing to invest in more infrastructure such as greenhouses if the right deal can be made.

We also own a very successful bakery/restaurant that would be a great outlet for most of the produce and products this farm can produce.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

Continue planting fruit trees, berries, and a market garden to sell into our bakery customer base. Find some farm partners to do more with the land.


Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

Utilize the entire 40 acres of usable land to create a permaculture, sustainable operation, possibly with several farmers. Eventually have a farm stand on the land (Cloverdale Rd. is very busy). Sell most of the produce and products from the land into our bakery customer base.

All fallow. We have planted 50 fruit trees and 500 apple rootstocks.
