Lease Partnership 15 acres in Lincoln County

Description

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

This is a working intentional community Homestead. Our primary income comes from operating and Adult Foster Home for adults with intellectual disabilities. We have been on the property for just a year. We have run power to the barn (2 110 lines), well water is piped to the barn, rain collection has been added. We cleared blackberry, run some fencing (we are bordered by a creek and a private road that has a border of 4-15ft deep blackberry brambles. We have been thinking about adding cattle, cross fencing and adding water to the pasture.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

Our hope is that Spirit Dog Farm is a self sufficient homestead for our chosen family. We want to be good stewards of the land, active members of the community and to nurture each other human and animal. With the right person (you?) we will create a farm built on these values....but most of all Love.

Current Use

Currently it is used for pasture (4) American Guinea Hogs, we also free range chickens, geese and turkey's. Prior to our acquisition this field was hayed for 15 plus years. We have mowed it twice this season. It needs some renovation....contains trefoil, orchard grass, tall fescue and.........an over abundance of LUPINE (ugh) This pasture is not being utilized as it should be....and we are hoping to get someone that can take the reins and decide what would be the best use for it.
