37 acres farm with about 14 acres of prime bottomland pastures(McAlpine Silty Loam). There are two creeks and the remainder is in mature 2nd growth timber. We have lived here and grown a huge organic garden for 30 yrs. We have run cattle and goats on the pastures and orchard. The folks before us lived and farmed here for over 70 years so the place has had only 2 families in over 100 yrs. It is truly a gem and we have kept it in great shape. It is difficult to find such an intact authentic property only 20 miles from Eugene. We have a number of amenities that make this place a great organic farm. We will be moving just ten miles away to a smaller property, and are interested in leasing for living and farming as well as possibly with leasing to buy option in the future. We have had a farm and a timber deferral for many years, and the tax advantage can pass to the new owners. The photos don’t do it justice!
