For sale: 1.02 acres in Bandon

Description

I started this lavender farm from bare land and an idea back in 2005 and have come to love it. As my ‘Lavender Lady’ product business has grown exponentially and as my age has advanced, it’s now time to pass it to the next generation. I will continue the product line and will let the next owner grow and love the lavender.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

Continue producing lavender, vegetables, herbs, berries, and lavender plants. Continue to operate the gift shop. Continue the upward trajectory of sales annually.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

Possibilities for growing the farm business are:
-Paid farm tours (agri-tourism). Many folks have visited the farm annually from around the world for free farm tours and visits to the gift shop.
-Grow the gift shop business
-Produce a product line
-Grow the vegetable, herb, berry business
-Start a co-op with other growers
-Classes on-site for growing, wreath making, cooking, crafting
-Start a B&B - who wouldn't love to stay at a lavender farm!
-Beekeeping; there are thousands of wild bees coming every year, why not collect and sell honey?
-I've wild harvested tons of huckleberries, blackberries and mushrooms from the farm. Why not sell these at market?
-Raise chickens for eggs, goats for dairy
-Plant fruit trees
-Grow the nursery business to include other plants
-Sell the hydrangea at market that is produced at the farm
-Angora goats for fiber
-Etc, etc
