For Partnership: 5-20 Acres in Portland

The property is a beautiful piece of land with rolling pastures and forested areas. It overlooks northwest Portland and is only 10 minutes from the center of downtown. The location allows an operator to be close in to the major population center of the Portland metro.

We are family of five that would like to the land put to good productive use. Our primary goal is to find an individual that has a great vision that is a fit for the land.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

I would like to see a dairy operation (ideally goats) on 5 to 20 acres and a stand alone fruit and/or vegetable farm on 2 to 10 acres. Could be two different operators.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

A sustainable dairy and farm

Current Use

Baling hay

Soil Type / Quality

The soils are primarily Helvetia silt loam IIe (21B), Cascade silt loam IIIw (7B), and Cascade silt loam IIIe (7C).

The property has a significant amount of spring fed water that is retained in a 2,000 gallon poly tank. The tank is at a high elevation and provides a strong water pressure. The site has the water piped to certain locations through out the property.

Buildings and Structures Available for Farm Use

The property only has one usable concrete building that is approximately 150 square feet. The property use to have large barns that have been demoed but the concrete slab foundations are still intact.
