Fully fenced land in North Plains Oregon. There are 2 barns, a covered feedlot, and approximately 2 acres of a fenced area that is currently being used to hold the bulls away from the cows. Both areas have water stations that are hooked up to a well. The open field also has a year-round creek that is also fed by a natural spring on the property.
We are not looking to get back into the cattle grazing use of the land but are looking for:
1) A goat herder that uses them for land clearing and needs a secure place to keep them.
2) A person looking to grow Hemp, flowers, vegetables, etc.
3) A mushroom cultivator. The one Barn is very large and dark.
4) Beekeepers. There are many areas where a number of hive boxes can be placed.
We have had a long term tenant on the property who is retiring and would like to provide an opportunity for a new generation of Farmer/Business owner to prosper
To connect with people who are looking for a long term business relationship that allows both parties to prosper.
Cattle grazing and grass bailing
There is a pump house over a natural spring. It would require some work to make it functional.
Not sure. I have never had it tested. It has had Black Angus cattle on it for 30 years and they cycle the cattle grazing to allow bailing of grass bales for winter feed.
There are 2 Barns and a covered feed lot currently used to feed cattle.
Possibly a Tractor but will need a little work
None thst I am aware of. It is classified as Agricultural land by Washington County. I have never looked into water rights but can if that is needed.
My wife and I are not Farmers but have Really Enjoyed living on this property for many, many years. We are open to any and all people who are looking to continue their current farming practices or start a new one. We are looking for a long-term relationship that benefits both parties. While we do not Farm directly we know many people around us that do and can get their help if needed. We look forward to speaking, meeting, and working with you.
To contact a land holder, you must first fill out a land seeker profile and have it approved by our staff. Thank you.
